Cutting Cost Using Your Existing Software Tools

You can use your existing software to cut costs…

Today I want to talk about the situation that a lot of companies nowadays are using Software as a Service [SaaS] offers in the cloud.

Software as a Service means you are renting a software packages and you pay a license fee per person – per user.

This sounds like a clever idea to begin with.
Then the cost can easily get out of hand.
You load more and more functionality onto those tools – which of course increases the license fee.

And you pay for every staff member that even has the smallest touch point to these data.

Well, of course you know this.

Now, if you would transfer this work or this analytics into Microsoft Excel a software which is already in place on your computer you could save money left right and centre.

This step doesn’t cost you anything – you’ve already got Outlook and Word and PowerPoint on your computer.

Excel is more or less free and there is no license fee to use it – unless you are subscribed to Microsoft Excel 365.
And again that license fee is way cheaper than the Software as a Service fees you are paying for other products.

Please reach out and let’s discuss your situation because not everything needs to be in the cloud, not everything needs to be dealt with by a Software as a Service.

You can centralise your processes and keep your decision-based data in house.

Thereby cut cost because you are not paying high license fees for every user.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

The changes Jürgen made have resulted in a substantial time saving and improved the reliability of our process allowing us to focus on the analysis rather than the collation and manipulation of data. Jürgen isn't just an Excel guy but really understand process flows and the business outcomes. Thanks again.”
